Welcome to my journalism portfolio! I'm an Italian teenager who moved to London at a young age for educational purposes, yet my heritage is still the most important thing to me and soon after, writing is a close second. I started writing for my middle school newspaper, The Scroll in Eighth Grade and soon found an instant attraction to journalism. I love writing, the excitement I get whenever I think of a newsworthy story, and the urgency and sense of duty I get whenever I manage to shine light on current events. I believe a newspaper should tell people the things they are too busy to notice in their daily lives, inform them on current events but most importantly on the unseen parts of society and everyday people with their own stories to tell. I'm pursuing journalism through my high school newspaper The Standard, and delving deeper into this passion. I strive to always write both entertaining and newsworthy stories to better inform my community on current events and provide something they enjoy reading.
